Historic Panama

Upon your arrival at the airport, one of our representatives will be waiting to transfer you to the hotel, where you will check-in. At dinner time, we will have a welcome meeting with a kosher leader from our community to provide information about the Panamanian kosher community (synagogues, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.).

After breakfast at the hotel, at 9:00 am, we depart for Casco Viejo to visit a series of museums in Casco (the Canal Museum, La Compañía Museum, Mola Museum). We will have lunch at one of the recommended kosher restaurants along our route before continuing to MULTIPLAZA, where we will enjoy Panama's most exclusive shopping center. In the evening, we will return to the hotel for dinner.

After breakfast at the hotel at 9:00 am, we depart to Panama La Vieja to learn about Panama's pre-Columbian history. From there, we head to the Causeway of Amador where we will visit the Biomuseo. At the Causeway, we can have lunch at a recommended kosher restaurant, and then continue to Miraflores Locks to observe a vessel transit through the Panama Canal, in addition to visiting the lock facilities. As the evening approaches, we depart to PANAVIERA to enjoy the sunset from the 66th floor of the former JW MARRIOTT PANAMA. We return to the hotel after a wonderful day of history.

After breakfast at the hotel, we head to the beach to enjoy 2 nights at one of the best beach properties near the city: WESTIN PLAYA BONITA. It's a beautiful beachfront hotel facing the Bridge of the Americas, where you can enjoy watching the ships waiting to cross the PANAMA CANAL.

After breakfast at the hotel, we return to the city hotel and you will have the morning free to pursue any particular interest or enjoy the hotel facilities. In the afternoon, the Sabbath begins, and we have arranged a list of synagogues near your hotel. Both lunch and dinner are at your own expense (see attached recommendations).

After breakfast at the hotel at 8:00 am, and after check-out, we depart for the Airport (3 hours before departure time) to catch the flight that will take us back home.
